Katie and J.R Garcia Wedding
This was such a fun wedding with a really great couple. The day started off with photos at the brides mothers home on a very cold rainy day, I suppose that is to be expected for Chicago in early December. This created some challenges with the bridal party shots and taking photos in the family's living room. We finally had a break in the weather, the rain anyway, and were able to snap a few photos of the ladies outside braving the cold.
From there I was able to catch up with the guys and get a few photos of them getting dressed and figuring out how to piece together their suits. We we were lucky when we were leaving for the church as the sun had come out and resulted in a few great photos with a bit more ideal lighting. The ceremony was in a small church and gave an intimate feel that was perfect for sharing with family and friends.
After the vows were exchanged we were off to the reception and the ensuing good times. They cut cakes, ate a delicious dinner, there we laughs and tears with each toasts and singing and dancing to both a live band and DJ...mostly its told better in the photos below.
Thank you both J.R. and Katie for allowing me to celebrate with you and capture your first moments as a married couple, I truly enjoyed sharing that time with you.
